Counterfeiting of fashion, is not only a crime, but a violation of both the designer and the consumer.

Nearly 75% of the women questioned admitted to buying a counterfeitt product, making it a multi billion dollar global industry.
Most of them, knowingly bought a designer counterfeit handbag.

What can the design community really do to affect a change in counterfeiting ?
That was something that the CFDA has tackled the past three years, deciding to raise awareness against counterfeit goods.

Taking the handbag as a canvas, over 90 designers this year created a One-of-a-Kind Tote bag bearing the "YOU CAN'T FAKE FASHION" Slogan... Infusing in each piece their personality, creativity & originality.

For the first time they are available at auction on eBay until midnight of March 25th.
