Red  is the color that dominates, lending its color to the Easter Eggs  painted on the Thursday before Easter & embellishing the Tsourekia (Easter Breads) that households make to give away to friends alongside the Koulouria (Easter Biscuits)

The table is set usually outdoors, with family & friends & the bar-b-q takes place in nature when the weather permits.
