Weekend Dutch Baby

Have you ever made a Dutch Baby for breakfast, or for brunch ?
There is nothing to it, really. One of the easiest things in the world to make.

It's something between an omelet and a pancake. But you bake it in the oven instead... giving you time to prepare coffee, tea and fresh orange juice as well.

There's only one thing to remember to have impressive results... that is to place the skillet in the oven and preheat it before pouring in the batter.

Serve it the moment it is ready and is puffed-up high, and enjoy it with your favorite jam, stewed or fresh fruit, a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, or just a dusting of sugar and grated lemon zest on top.

Take a look at these pictures first, and feast your eyes on so many others on the links below.
You really have NO excuse  not to try your favorite one this weekend !!!

*** if you don't have a cast-iron pan as these recipes call for, any pan will do as long as you wrap the handle with aluminum foil.
